Pushing Forward

Watching my daughter play at her table, I can't help but be inspired.  She has pink eye, so her eye is puffy, yucky and red... Yet she is playing away and offering me her usual toothy/goofy grin.

The lesson to be learned here is that if an infant can push forward through her ailments... Why can't I?  We've all had moments that we don't feel well, that we felt depressed, under the weather, were cranky, etc, etc, etc...  So instead of complaining relentlessly we should try our best to smile and push forward.

Maybe the phrase shouldn't be ”stop acting like a baby” and instead say, ”start acting like a baby”.

There are lessons to be learned all around us, today I choose to open my eyes to them.
