Gratitude
What is gratitude?
My husband and I recently finished watching a series, and the characters would often express their thanks through one word... ”gratitude”.
Throughout this journey I have seen many things in a much clearer manner than before. One of these things is the importance of expressing appreciation and acknowledging thanks. This can be done through something as complex as a speech or as simple as a nod. Regardless of method, this step is a must.
Think about it... You're having a rough day where it seems like the bucket of wrongs is overflowing, when unexpectedly someone texts you a message of Gratitude. In that very moment, things can feel ok, if you choose to focus on the positive. It can distort your view just enough to remove the poor me's and give you the strength to carry on under a new charge of promise instead of defeat.
Today, and everyday moving forward, express your gratitude. What you may deem as small and insignificant can truly make all the difference in the life of another.
I am grateful for your support and pray that through my journey I can change at least one life for the positive.
*Namaste*
