Million Mask March

I am no politician and I am no celebrity, but I matter.  The difference between the haves and the have-nots is what astonishes me... the indifference to the multitude of injustices that take place every-single-day.  The blatant disregard for one another as human beings because of fueling our ignorance with rage.  Something has GOT to give!

Look outside of your window, watch the news, go to a store and look around you... I mean really look.  Do you notice the family behind you at the check-out getting noodles to feed 6 people?  Do you see the man on the ground that has been beaten down by life and left in the trenches by his fellow man?  When you watch television do you disregard pain to be entertainment due to emotional detachment?  Do you see what is happening around you; or are you too caught-up in your own life to notice the struggle of another?

I mean honestly... sometimes I have no choice but to turn off the emotions I experience from seeing the struggle of another because I become consumed by the magnitude of emotion.  Yet this does not prevent me from recognizing a need for change.  Today there is a global movement taking place...
The Million Mask March... we are in a time of change, growth, and awakening.  It's not sexy, it’s not pretty, it’s not a trend that you see in the popular media... it is a necessity!  We need to take action today so that we may have a tomorrow.

Although I may not agree with Guy Fawkes' actions... I do agree with affecting change.  It's time for a movement driven by peace.  So today I celebrate the "MILLION MASK MARCH" for the promise that it brings and the efforts to unite. ♥
