Spreading the Word

We are in the season of holidays; which means gathering with family/friends, social events, mourning, remembrance, among a host of many other things.  However, I choose to see these times as an opportunity for us all to shine from within and truly become beacons of change.  As you travel, as you sit at the table to break bread, as you enter into general conversations... take the reigns of these moments to offer a suggestion to all you encounter.  It begins with a simple question, "how are you being the change you wish to see in the world?"

It's not about compromising conversation or even creating a moment of discomfort; it's about bringing awareness to the struggle that is taking place within our world.  It is about living within our truth and allowing those around you to live within theirs as well.  Fact of the matter is if we continue to have our read between the lines mentality, change will never become reality.  So we must take all opportunities as they present themselves, to put on our proverbial suits of armor and speak up for the betterment of all.

No, our perceptions of what a better world would look like may not be the same and that is more than OK.  However if we don't start making real strides towards a better today; a greater tomorrow will always be a day away.  So in this moment I propose that you tell at least two friends so that they may in turn tell two friends.  By doing so, our reach will span farther than any eye can see.  This is about action, not just words.  This is the time to do more than like a status for the content and possibility that it offers.  Being a fan is one thing; being a beacon is another.

I challenge you to truly Be the Change You Wish to See and start Spreading the Word in the quest of encouraging others to follow suit.

*Peace and Blessings*
